The Ubuntu Studio project has been out in the public for just shy of a month, now. It has been downloaded and installed in the main PC controller that runs our studio. After looking at it for a grand total of an hour, it has been decided to put any recording with Ubuntu Studio on hold until the release of the new CD. Reason being, it has taken so long to record and release this latest CD that I can't afford another delay. Especially one that is software-caused.
That said, "Human Analog" will be recorded on a Windows XP platform using the usual suspects of Cool Edit Pro, Orion Platinum, Cubase, Nuendo, Sound Forge, and various Direct-X and VST effects and synths.
Maybe, just maybe, the next project will be recorded using open source software. Until then, hopefully you like what you hear created on a Windows-based system.
